The assignment is collecting some sound fragments and recombine them in Premiere Pro. My sound fragments relate my dorm room.

Which elements are believable?

In the film, Banksy uses many film clips from Thierry’s. From these clips, I can see “real” in the film, because it is not perfect and professional film making.

Which elements are not believable?

I can feel the negative emotions contained in this movie, especially since Banksy says that street art should not be related to the money. Thus, I think because of the subjective view of Banksy, this film should somehow contain little flaws.

What is the morale/ purpose of this fictional documentary?

I think the main purpose of this film is to mock the commercialization of the street art.

Sequential Movement

The project was choosing a subject to study its basic movement and creating an animation.

My animation tells a story about a girl and flowers. Firstly, a bug flies into her ear and then there is a flower growing out from her other ear. Next, anther flower grows and the roots of the flowers come out from her nostrils, mouth and eyes. In the end, more and more roots come out and bugs fly around  her.

Graphic Novel

The project was reading "Understanding Comics- The Invisible Art", and then creating a two-page graphic novel.

The name of my story is "Soulmate". It tells about a woman who just found that both herself and her husband full in love with other people. In order to get her husband's property, she plans to kill him. But then she begins to hesitate because she recalls a lot of memory between her and her husband. Finally, she wakes up, finds everything is her dream, and she was just buried by her soulmate, her husband.
